I’m charged in the stables. I want to bolt forward!

I’m working on getting the word out on my book and I’m in quite the conundrum. I need to have an impressive press experience to get any action. So how do I get attention? I have to strike it lucky, and for me, that’s constantly sending out queries to any and all media outlets that I can get.

I’m keeping positive and keeping on going.

Thanks for reading.

  1. Been searching for another young writer on here and was glad to stumble across you! 🙂

Good luck with your press, but hey, sounds like you’ve already broken into the Publishing World (Barnes and Noble pick up your book? Good for you!), and that’s awesome. My best friend is sixteen and all she’s getting is nice rejection letters. :-/ As for me? I’m still not happy enough with my first draft to even think about querying with agents.

I intend to keep following you on here as I learn the great big world of WordPress. Good luck in the future!

  2. Traditional Publishers don’t publish minors…I learned that the hard way.

They all said how awesome my book was, but they ”weren’t looking for that stuff now”. So I decide not to go with traditional and go with self.

    Thanks for commenting.

    Good luck with your series.

    Keep positive!
